World TeamTennis is a fun co-ed league emphasizing a team first approach where literally every game counts! Matches consist of one set of men’s singles, one set of women’s singles, one set each of men’s doubles and ladies doubles, and two sets of mixed doubles with the winning team being determined by the highest number of total games won over the course of all 6 sets. Much like the USTA, the team leading the standings at the end of the season will have the opportunity to compete in a national qualifying tournament and possibly even move on to the National Championships held annually at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens in sunny Palm Springs, CA. Our league here at Tampa Tennis at HCC is forming now with play set to begin on Thursday June 7th at 6pm.
