Camp Program Description
The Tampa Tennis Junior “Jam Week” program is a games based approach that adds excitement and enjoyment for the kids as they learn through a progression of drills and games specific for each of our levels of play. We will host 5 levels of play on 5 courts with more than 5 pros daily for the Tampa tennis community. Tampa Tennis and it’s top flight instructional team directed by Director Kevin Brundle, USPTA and the Tampa Tennis staff will host team matches and tournament play weekly to accelerate the learning process and also gain valuable match experience.

Developmental

• Young Stars: (Ages 4-6) Entry level beginners, just starting to develop hand eye skills, loads of fun
• Future Stars: (Ages 7-10) Advanced beginners, juniors that have begun instruction but not yet playing

Tampa Tennis and it’s top flight instructional team directed by USPTA staff that includes Director Kevin Brundle, Tysen Middleton and Joe Richards, will host team matches and tournament play weekly to accelerate the learning process and also gain valuable match experience.

Developmental

• Young Stars: (Ages 4-6) Entry level beginners, just starting to develop hand eye skills, loads of fun
• Future Stars: (Ages 7-9) Advanced beginners, juniors that have begun instruction but not yet playing
• ATP: (Ages 10-13) Advanced beginner level, juniors with lesson experience just starting to play matches

Adult In House Flex League

• Levels:  Match play for 2.0 to 3.5 level of play
• Cost: $60 / 6 weeks (must be registered for a 6 week cycle)
• Purpose: The In House Flex League is designed to provide match play opportunities for entry level to advanced beginner adults to assist with the development of strokes, positioning and the learning of strategies and formations. Perfect match for players that are participating in the LTP / Play Better Power Hour programs.
• Method: Each player will be placed on a team and will compete on a weekly basis by setting matches up based on the convenience of all players.

Junior In House Team Tennis League

• First Practice: Tuesday, March 19^th (4:30-6 pm)
• First Match: Friday, March 22^nd – Friday, April ^26th (4:30-6 pm)
• Age Groups: 12 & Under, 10 & Under, 8 & Under
• Purpose: The IN HOUSE League will help the juniors improve their overall match play experience and will be competing against other teams within the junior program. Each team will be elected a Staff Pro to help during practices and matches.
• Price: $190.00 (Includes 6 practices, 6 matches, team uniforms, pizza weekly, awards banquet prizes, court fees, and coaching during practices and matches.)

Men’s Top Gun Doubles (Wednesday Nights)

• Begins Wed, March 20th @ 6:30PM – Ends on April 24th
• Member Cost = $15.00
• Non Member Cost = $45.00 / 6 week program
• Grand Prize for 1st and 2nd place winners!!
• Format: All Doubles Play with an “Up and Down the River” format. After each round you and your partner will either move up or down a court depending on the score. Before the start of the next round partners must split. Total score for each individual will be recorded on a ladder in the pro shop on a weekly basis! NO DROP-INS ALLOWED AFTER WEEK #3.

Junior Davis Cup

* Date: Saturday, Dec 1^st – Saturday, Jan 5^th (Every Saturday)
* Time: 11:00-1:00PM
* Cost: $90.00 (6 weeks)

Each player will be assigned to a specific “Grand Slam” Team (Wimbledon, French Open, US Open, or Australian Open). They will play a minimum of 2 matches every Saturday competing for their specific team. At the end of every Saturday a winning team will be determined and prizes will be awarded!
